- 1 Friar's Terrace, King's Staith, York
Exactly where to look
Walking along King's Staith, continue along the river edge to Friar's Terrace and South Esplanade. Look left and up: a bunch of cats can be spotted on the window sills. This is the first of two matching white cats.
The Story
Two matching white cats, a poised Siamese and a sleek black cat sit together like a little riverside family. Their names and history remain a mystery, but their owners are surely cat lovers with a story worth telling.
